Viola labradorica

Montane alluvial forests, cove forests, dry-mesic and dry forests and woodlands over limestone and other calcareous substrates; rich floodplain forests in the piedmont; calcareous seepage swamps and ravine forests in the coastal Plain. Infrequent to locally common in the mountains; rare in the n. piedmont and c. coastal Plain.
