Additional Info

Floodplain forests, alluvial swamps, tidal swamps, and upland depression swamps; also in beaver ponds, ditches, and other wet, disturbed habitats. Frequent and locally common in the piedmont and inner coastal Plain; infrequent in the mountains; rare in the outer coastal Plain.
